The salad bar was horrible, a few kinds of lettuce, cheese, croutons. After you get a quarter of they way through the buffet, it kind of just started all over again with the exact same foods. The buffet didn't have a lot of variety and a lot of the same dishes were offered. The seafood area was swarming with people, as in, every time the containers were restocked the same people would go clean them out. I was pretty disappointed that none of it tasted like the spectacular southern fare that I get when I go to the deep south.
In true Paula Deen style, it's all home style type dishes and swimming in butter.
I prefer to take the 15 minute drive to Downtown Louisville. When I pay for gourmet food, I want gourmet food. It's not horrible, it's just very overpriced. I'm not a big fan of any of the dining facilities in Horseshoe Southern Indiana, but if I had a comp I would certainly eat there.
